Tripping is not so fun!

On Monday Feb 25th Ashley tripped over her coat which she was carrying and went head first into the hinge of the front door. I picked her up excepting a big bump to find lots of blood. I saw it was really cut open and we made our way to a instacare close to our house.

 

 

So three stitches later which was not fun and Ashley was very upset about it. She did not like getting them in.

Five days later we got the stitches removed which went a lot better than getting them put in and less traumatizing.

This what it looks like today and looks like we will have a nice scar to try and get to heal. We knew this would happen sooner or later and I am glad it was not any worse. Poor thing still tells everyone she talks to her head and how she hit it on the door.

The funny thing about the whole story is that after she hit her head and was bleeding she was so concerned that the shirt she was wearing which happened to be one of her favorites would get blood on it. So girly and I love it, and no she did not get blood on her shirt.
