Where have I been?

There is Maybe 10 more new posts after this one!
I know it has been like two months since I posted last and I am sorry for all those very few that read my blog! I am taking five classes, working and have two kids to watch and for some reason have not gotten around to updating my blog! So this is going to be a lot of posts to update what we have been up to for the past two months! Our week is filled with work, school, Library visits, dance class and all the other everyday life things that happen. We stay busy but we are happy! Here are a few random pictures!

Whipple Family Pictures

Fall Time

We decided about a month ago to drive up Hobble Creek and go play in some leaves and let Ashley and Jameson see the changing fall colors for the first time in their lives! They loved it and had a lot of fun playing in the leaves!

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun which it always is in this house. Ashley decided that we all needed to be x-men for Halloween and stuck to that all of Oct. I however had to work the morning of Halloween and did not want to be a x-men for work so I decided to pull out the theater makeup and do something fun for work. I decided on a creepy doll! It was so much fun! I did not win the work contest which I personally think I should have since the guy who won just shaved their head! But anyways it was fun anyways. Ashley and Tyler had so much fun dressing up and loved trick or treating a lot!

Not the best picture (especially of me) but this is the family picture of the x-men!
Tyler has more pictures from Halloween on his phone but since he is at school and not home right now I might have to add more later!

Trips to Farmington/ Park with good AZ friends

Since Sept I have gotten the chance to go to Farmington 2 times! The kids and I got to go for a week in Sept and than again in Oct for the Blessing of Lisa's new little guy Logan! We miss family and always wish we were there longer and lived closer to lots of friends and family!

We also got the chance at conference time to meet at the park here in UT to see some good friends who we are really missing from AZ. Three of us have moved here to UT in the past year and two were just visiting for conference week. In AZ we had a play group that we would go to a different park every week or during the summer go swimming and it was so much fun for the kids. Ashley was very excited to see all her old friends and get to play with them again.

We miss our neighbors and dear friends!

4 years old

Ashley turned 4 years old on Sept 5 and I can not believe I have a 4 year old! She is so fun and crazy but we love her anyways! She got to start Dance the day before her birthday and she is loving it and looks forward to going every week. She does not always want to listen and do what the teacher asks but she is still loving it. She has a recital in Dec and also in May so that should be interesting. We had a great day for her birthday. She got to decide where we wanted to go for lunch and diner. She woke up  to lots of balloons all over the house. She was so excited to turn 4 and she was even more excited that my mom was here to celebrate with her for the whole week. At the end of the week the kids and I took my mom home to NM and decided to stay there for a week. While we were in NM we had a b-day party for Ashley with her cousins. We had a tea party and it was so much fun.

New Eye

Tyler finally got his new eye today and I think it looks great! After his accident seven years ago he eye began to die and became cat eyed so it was crazy to me to look at him and for him to have a normal looking eye.

This was taken today ! He finally got his fake eye.
Three days after surgery and than 2 weeks after surgery.

Camping/Random

We took the kids camping for the first time ever! Ashley was way excited and asked why we were going to sleep outside! We decided to go up right fork road in hobble creek which is really close to springville where we live. It was only about a 40-60 min drive and we found a great place to camp! We can drove there before and knew before hand the area we wanted to camp at! It started to rain a little bit but there were lots of blue sky that we could see and it was not raining very much. We decided to get the tent up and get fire wood cut and get camp set! Right after getting the tent up it started to really really rain on us. We all ended up sitting in the tent for a hour or so waiting to see if it would stop. When it did we got the fire started and it started to rain again! It went on like this for several hours and we almost decided to take the tent down and load up and head home. We stuck it out and when it finally stopped raining for good it turned out to be a great night and we enjoyed roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire. The kids did not sleep very good at night but that ok for their first time camping! When we woke up in the morning Ashley was ready to go home. She said she was tired and wanted to sleep in her bed again! It took a lot just to get her to eat her breakfast and help us take down everything! It was a short camping trip but Ty and I enjoyed it and we were glad we were able to do it!

We were so glad we got to go and we look forward to going again maybe next year since school start next week for me and soon after that for Ty.
