Random fun in the summer!

 Sorry Several Post today again!
They open a new splash pad in our town and it is a lot of fun! The first time we went we could not find swim suits but the next time we found them and Ashley made a friend who was wearing the same suits as her. Jameson did not care for the running kids and being splashed in the face the whole time. Maybe he will like it more next time since it is free and easy way to get out of the house and have fun. We are also looking forward to going to Seven Peaks Water park this summer. We love that we have passes and can go whenever we want to!!
She talked to all the statues and they were her friends too.

Making funny faces at the camera.

Playing in our backyard!

We also got the sprinkler out and let the kids play. Ashley loved it but say the splash pool is better but Jameson did not care for it much.

Tyler's eye!

Tyler's eye had improved  a lot! Left was take 3 days after surgery and the right was taken 2 weeks after surgery!

Tyler's eye has been doing really good. He has had a little bit of pain off and on but nothing compared to the pain he was in before he had his eye removed. He will continue to heal and go see the doctor in a couple of weeks and than he can be fitted for a fake eye so he won't look so creepy! He finds that people stare at him a lot more! He is happy to have the pain gone and he is doing amazing!

Farmington

We decided to go to Farmington a couple of weeks ago for a couple of reasons. My cousin Maquel was having her farewell and it was Jameson first birthday.

Jameson's First Birthday

Playing at park after getting cleaned up after not eating but playing in his cake!
We  had so much fun with everyone at Taylor park and Jameson was happy and did not care much for his cake. He refused to eat the cake but was fine with playing in it. I will post more picture later after I get them off tyler's phone! I am thankful for all that got to come and for my mom getting all the food ready for the party. For the rest of my wonderful family for helping with food and setting up and taking down. My family is amazing and I don't know what I would do without them! I am glad Jameson got to celebrate his birthday with lots of family!
That night we got to spend at the totah theater with maqual and all the family to watch a movie to celebrate with maquel as she goes on a mission.
Sunday we went to church with all the family and maquel gave a great talk and than we had diner at my grandma's house and than headed home.

5 min into our drive home! They were tired!

1 year ago today

As I am reflected on what happen a year ago today my heart is full of Joy and Love for a little man that I don't know what we would do without him.

Jameson is 1 Today.
We came so far from where he started!
The day he was born.

10 days old
I am going to reflect on the story of his birth.
I had been in labor for what seemed like days. I was dilated to a 4 and was thinking he would come any day.
When I woke up on May 10 he was not moving but I didn't think anything of it at the time. We decided to go walk the mall and see if we could get labor started more. When arriving at the mall it was starting to hit me that I had not felt him move all morning. We decided to walk around, get some orange Juice and eat lunch to see if anything would get him to move. After a couple of hours of not feeling him move we decided to go to the hospital.I had Tyler and Jay give me a blessing so I would be able to get through whatever was going to happen. When we arrived they put us in a room and I got undressed and we waited for a nurse to come in and get us hooked to the computers. That seemed like a hour wait cause I didn't know if he was still alive or not at that time. After they hooked me up and we heard a heart beat I have never felt so much relief, he was still not moving but he was still alive. After being at the hospital for a hour we were being prepped for a emergency c-section. They had him out so fast and he had stopped breathing and he was white as a ghost. The amazing doctors and nurses were able to get him breathing let me kiss his head and rushed him up stairs to the NICU to get him a blood transfusion. I had to get sewn up and to recovery and I had to wait to see my little man. It was about 3 or so hours before I got to see him again and see he was ok and would need a lot of prays but I knew he would be ok. I had a hard recovery but pushed to walk and be up and going so I could go and see Jameson. He was given two blood transfusions and began breathing on his own. When you give babies blood it can cause brain damage so he was put on cold therapy. Which means they lowed his temp and keep him there for three days and than slowly began to warm him back up. Being on cold therapy meant we could not hold him or touch him other than his hands and feet. This was one of the hardest things for me. It was not until he was 5 days old that I got to hold him for the first time.

He has now overcome everything they said he would have and is healthy and so happy.
He is happy most of the time and loves his sister more than anything. The other days he was crying and would not stop and I figured out he was upset because Ashley was watching a movie in my room and he wanted her to play with him. Once she did he was happy again. I am so glad and thankful that we have our little boy with us today and we can enjoy his sweet smile and funny personality.

We are having a big B-day party in farmington for him and I will post pictures!

Busy Months

My Cousin Maquel is going on a Mission to New Zealand and she came up to UT to go thru the temple in April and it was a great day. I got to see a lot of family and it was so nice to be in the temple with so much family. I am excited for her and know she will be an awesome missionary.

April 28 was Tyler's and mine 6 year anniversary. I can't believe it has been six years of wonderfulness. I couldn't be more happy to have a wonderful husband who is my best friend. I think the song lucky is prefect to fit what i think.

Than Tyler had eye surgery. So I figured I would start by telling everyone about What happened to Tyler's eye and how it has gotten him where we are today.

Seven Years ago, before Tyler and I had meet, he was playing dodge ball for a FHE activity in Farmington. He was hit in the head well eye with the small dodge ball. The impact torn and shredded his retina  He was not able to see out of the eye and after going to the doctor was sent in for surgery to try and correct the problem. The surgery did not work and he was taken in for a second surgery to try and fix the problem. It was after this surgery that I meet Tyler. He came into Applebee's where we both worked just never together yet. His eye looked really bad and yet again it did not do anything to fix the problem. He continued to have four more surgeries which did not bring back any vision. The last surgery he had was right after we got married and the only reason it was done to help the eye from dying any quicker. To give him time before he would need to get it replaced. The eye was still slowly dying and was causing Tyler pain on almost a daily basic. He has lived with this pain for all these years since getting hit and we finally decided to get something done about it. He was seen and INS gave us the ok to have the surgery done so that is what he did on Thursday. He had his eye removed, than a plastic ball was put in his eye and the muscles were attached to it. Then they removed a piece of skin and fat from Tyler's side and placed it in the eye to cushion everything. In about two months after the swelling and everything is ok with the eye he will be fitted for a personal fake eye. That day was really hard. He came out of surgery not doing very well and between being sick and the pain it was a hard day. I am not used to having to take care of him. Friday was a lot better as long as the pain was managed. Saturday and Today are even better than the previous days. Thanks to wonderful family for babysitting and bring food and love and support this has gone really well so far. I am grateful for our family and friends.

And now we are planning a trip to farmington to Jameson's 1st birthday and Maquel farewell this coming friday. I can't believe my little man is turning 1 already! I will post more after our little trip and more about Jameson's birthday.
